Okay genuinely asking because I keep seeing ads and forum posts claiming you can get good humanized output for free and then when I actually try the tools they’re either capped at like 300 words or the output is weird.
I get that there’s a business model issue here. Companies have to make money somehow. But the gap between what’s advertised and what the free tier actually does is massive with most of these tools.
Has anyone found a free humanizer that actually produces decent output without immediately hitting a wall? I’m a student so I’m not in a position to pay for something monthly just to fix up a few essays a week. Curious if there’s a genuine option or if free just means demo.
From a teaching perspective, I’ll say something slightly uncomfortable: the effort of working around the free cap is probably doing more for your writing than the tool itself would. Reading your own text critically enough to decide what needs reworking is a skill. Worth not outsourcing it entirely.
